Sugaring Season at Ridley Farm, Shapleigh

HPIM0550

Located on the Nason Road in Shapleigh, Ridley Farm is family run dairy farm.  We will be hosting visitors on Maine Maple Sunday, March 28 from 10-4 to see and learn about the process of making maple syrup. We offer a complimentary scoop of Shaker Pond (locally made) Vanilla ice cream with warm maple syrup.

In addition to seeing the syrup making process, you can visit our farm animals, dairy cows and the newest calves (two were born this week), goats, and chickens.  The tractor display is always a hit with the children.  Lots of kids enjoy a visit with our 6,000 pound bunny!!! Intrigued? Come and meet him...

Our farm store is open Saturday and Sunday with lots of new maple syrup from 1/2 pints to 1/2 gallons and some fancy glass bottles too.  We make maple candy, maple roasted nuts, maple lollipops, maple cream, maple popcorn, and maple cotton candy.   In addition, we sell our own grass fed beef and Harris Farm glass bottled milk in many flavors.
