The White House Inn

A stately boutique Inn offering the discerning guest modern, luxurious amenities, and the experience of capturing an elegant, bygone era.  Located  in the historic district of Belfast, a creative and eclectic mid-coast town nestled between Camden and Bar Harbor.

1 Church Street The White House Inn, designed by renowned architect Calvin Ryder and built in 1840 by John Patterson White, a former Mayor and favorite son of Belfast, is a strikingly handsome and beautifully detailed house. Its listing with the National Register of Historic Places was awarded in 1973 based on its contribution as one of the finest examples of Greek revival style in Maine.

 The Inn is located five blocks from Main Street where a profusion of art galleries, unique shops, trendy cafes, and sailing and fishing boats greet the visitor.
